Maps and Itineraries: In every trip, especially by car, it’s important to bring a map with the complete itinerary of the trip to make localization of important points easier. Carrying a map, particularly if you don’t own a GPS, avoids getting lost and losing precious time during the trip. Obviously, we always have the option to wander without a previously planned itinerary, but that’s the less recommended option if you’re planning to visit some specific city, a less popular tourist attraction or some place that opens only at specific times. It’s wise not to take risks to your trip by arriving late in some of the places you want to visit. Spend a little time before starting your journey to check distances and time required for each step of the trip.
